Really impressed how the dithering pulls the whole figure together, particularly the facial features. I'm almost afraid to ask if it's hair or cloth framing her head - the transition between that and her forehead is deceptively smooth, must have taken forever to get it just right.
I use Graphics Gale too, and although I'm not as experienced with it as with GrafX2, I wouldn't say they're alternatives to each other; I'd rather say that they're complementary to each other.
Timanthes seems to be strictly C64... Am I wrong?
What are the best reasons to fork $60 for Cosmigo Pro Motion? I'm considering doing so when I have the money available, but I'd like to know why should I do it beyond simply having access to more specialist image software.
And what would you say is a good alternative to GrafX2 under Windows or Linux?
thanks!
still no good alternative on osx (aseprite doesn't have rgb scale)
I didn't know that - thanks!
If it works that way - I have to show something else soon ;)
Hate it when good works get kicked off the gallery 'real quick'.
Nice job, you could've waited to post next month :).
Yes - but not for long I hope ;) There was no particular model at this time. I tried to portrait fictional person from atlanis (so – long neck mixed with asian eyes etc.)
