Okey dokey then. I never really saw most of his stuff (all I remember from him was an entry for the Change of Mind challenge from 1 year ago which he removed before the voting started) so using a little 50% grey in a red piece isn't all that familiar to me  I personally am not fond of clashing colors either unless they contrast well, too.

The clashing grey was intentional, as Peyton has used it multiple times.

It's really great, although the grey kills it a bit for me...  I feel like the grey clashes with the rest of the piece and really could be a color that leans towards orange/yellow (or could be more prominent, as is the case with one of the pieces I found on Peyton's tumblr which I believe inspired you).

...Unless that was intentional?
