Just did a quick header for some friends' blog / website. Inspired by Super Metroid of course. Original header will be displayed at 1000 pixels wide, so the pixels really jump into your face.

Don't count the colors please, this is anything but perfect pixel art. Created an initial version in a vector program, since I am much more used to this, than actual pixeling. Resized the vector image to 160 pixels wide, sharpened it, reduced colors and then manually "cleaned" it up.
