Long time ago, I made a shooter mockup, named Rogue Galaxy. Here is the sequel; Ruined Galaxy (I'm planning a trilogy).
Battle the fierce ToadTroopers in a restless city filled with flashing lights, explosions and stuff shooting fire everywhere. Your eyes are sure to explode after this stage, because I could not resist the temptation of putting as much buildings as I could think off.
The graphics got better, though...

As for the ship, I will remember your advice. The last chapter in the "trilogy" deserves a more polished spacecraft.
