Hello everyone!  This is a piece I did for the Homestuck fan album Beforus, which just came out today.  It is song art for the piece The Scratch Before the Calm by Laurent DS (bandcamp link will come when it is available). I didn't have much reference to go off of for this scene. I wanted to do more with the crystals (I'm a geologist after all, I should be better at figuring out how to make them actually look transparent; I gave up on accurate crystal structure because it was too much) but I am relatively happy with how it turned out. With Homestuck ending so soon it's fun to look back at a few of the earlier elements of the story.
