My entry for the weekly challenge (:

I chose an urban legend, very popular during the 70's, the Kuchisake-Onna. It's said that she'll appear to those who walk alone during night. A beautiful girl with a red trench coat and a surgical mask. She'll ask you "do you think I'm beautiful?" and if you say "yes" she'll take of the mask, revealing her mutilated face. Some versions say it was her husband, others say it was her sister, but one way or another she had her mouth ripped from ear to ear. Whatever is your answer, she'll kill you with scissors. The only way to get away is asking her if she thinks you are beautiful. She'll get confused and you'll have enough time to run.

I like Kuchisake-onna and I'm happy that you picked her. It is for sure interesting to see a more realistic attempt to depict her.

Her whole face is having a quite disgusting and ugly vibe. I like how the hair is blending onto the background. Smooth pixels are always something lovely to see for me.

However the overall piece is lacking organic shapes making this look rather off and less living.
