Well I'm sorry that you could'nt tell what it was, I was going for a similar style to Albertov with exaggerated hands and head etc. and vibrant colours for a cartoony feel and so I shortened the body and gave him a large head and feet on purpose.
I had to look up "Pingu". I thought it was just a cute word for penguin and was going to say that it doesn't read like a penguin to me because of the round body (penguin bodies are oblong) and the separate round head (penguin heads flow smoothly into their torsos). After looking it up, I see that the separate-ish head is part of the Pingu design and you're accurate to it, however the torso in their designs looks much more penguin-like than yours does, because it's oblong and less circular than the one you drew; it's more like an egg with a flat bottom. The head you drew is also a bit too big for either; though I realize stylization is also important, in this case your change is making the subject no longer resemble what it's meant to be.
I can see that :] And I'm all for stylization, but it's important not to lose sight of what it is you're drawing, either. Good stylization emphasises the features that identify your subject, bad stylization hides them.
