Ah, I see, that makes sense! If we only see one floor at a time, it'll look better. Though in that case, we should still be able to see the tops of the steps on the middle floor, since at that point, the top of the stairs is below the viewer.
Me too! From the beginging of the project I really wanted to incorperate the mighty max effect in the backgrounds.
Oh, yeah. I did that on purpose. The differance with this one from the hamster bunny's home is the perspective. Notice how the floor from left to right seems to have draw away from the veiwer. That and the camra is always zoomed in to a certain point, making the illusion the stairs are higher.
This looks really cool~ I love these kinds of backgrounds, like self-contained little worlds.
I can't help but notice that the back part of the stairs from the bottom to the middle storey seems to be leaning away though. We can see the floor and the tops of the bottom part of the stairs, but we can't see the tops of the stairs on the back part.
I got that covered. XD The bottom door leads to another layer of rooms in the airship.
