I think "gray" is more common on the net. Yeah, I sometimes find myself typing "grey" for some reason :)

In the comments I saw two different spellings for gray/grey, got confused and googled it. They're both right, it's just that gray is common use for Americans, and grey is common use for Britains I guess. xD
Yes, some colors would definitly improve this piece. I like using a grayscale palette for its simplicity and it's compatability with other colors. I've gone through the same process with some of my other works by using grayscale first, then adding in colors later if I like the effect.
This is pretty good.
Grey palette gives it a very grim mood.
Some interesting colors would make this a great piece. Try experimenting with dark browns, reds, and beiges as a substitute for gray, in this instance (red would contrast well with the blue ofc). I like the perspective o:
