One of the first works I did. Unfortunately, I haven't improved since then, so I'm trying to learn more about Pixelart. I hope you can help me! :D

When I do pixel art, I first start with the line art, others start with opaque shapes. Then I keep in mind the direction of the light source. After that, I fill in the shading. From what I see and what you've provided in this piece, there is no specific light source direction. A light source will also help with what is needed to be shaded, remember to keep it simple and add more detail as you go, one ascender or descender at a time.

In the end, I don't want to make you pixel in a certain style, and I don't want to have influence on your particular style. I just want people to progress with their own style faster. I hope I was helpfull.

Also, there are some guides about AA and banding out there. Keep in mind that this is a gallery of finished works and people are less willing to give advice. The PJ forum is where to go for that. I don't use the forum tho. xD Sry for wall post.
