Thought it would be fun to have a Pixel Joint Smash, with characters inspired by popular works and avatars.
Can you guess the references? lol
Btw, the level is supposed to be watermelon/farm but I didnt have time to add seeds, or other farm equipment.
edit: Updated the Preview and removed a layer that was accidentally toggled on during the character select, but was for the actual gameplay screen. Not sure if thats kosher, for the contest. | 
Weekly Challenge: The Food Level
I just started working on animating them. For sure some won't make sense without seeing the full sprite, and/or animations. There is a lot of gender-bending and mix-matching and re-imagining. I just posted the animation P4 btw :)
A hint for P4: In the original works, three items that were changed or didn't make it into my sprite are (gas mask, confederate flag, dog)
