I think the aa needs more lighter tones to blend with the bright yellow. Drawing itself is quite nice though, good work
The only difference I can see in them is that they appear to have just reduced the amount of red in the colours (ie the orange is now yellow) which I mean sounds like it makes sense, if a person is red-green colourblind then surely you just reduce the amount of red and you basically see what they see, except it doesn't really work like that. I don't know it's fairly difficult to describe what I see being colourblind, it'd be like trying to explain a colour haha. In regards to the red/green in the piece to my eyes they blend well, but that's because I struggle with differentiating between those two colours, so I can't really emulate what I think a regular sighted person would see. Who knows, maybe I'll make a living off making art for people who are colourblind
Oh, I didn't knew about it! So you see it something like this http://i.imgur.com/ZbnC8R5.jpg or http://i.imgur.com/HAgD8Lo.jpg? (done with coblis-color-blindness-simulator) If so, it would indeed explain the green/red clash. Anyway, that's even nicier you got to this result! :)
I'm red green colourblind, cut me some slack I definitely have quite a bit to learn about colours, atm I just enjoy experimenting with palettes that aren't very "normal" I guess. What with being colourblind and all it definitely can lead to some hiccups here and there. Really glad you like the piece, your portraits are a big inspiration to me.
I do like it better! The green is still clashing too much with the red imo, but it doesn't take away the piece for me. Nice work :)
agh you're really gonna make me revise it again, Jinn
edit: Changed the colours, also reduced it down to 8 by substituting the pure white for the offwhite blue colour.

Thank you for the kind words
Fixed the jagged parts of the hair, made the nose a bit more rounded, made her back stick out more. Only thing I didn't change was the eyes as I don't see it as a problem. Appreciate the feedback and kind words, your advice has definitely made the piece better and more presentable.
The technique is really nice! I'd just tweak a little bit the colors so they can ramp better: http://i.imgur.com/vEts4ML.gif
Looks great! I don't know how you got those unorthodox color combinations to work, but the effect is striking. Nice balance between large clusters and pixel level texture in the dithering, too.
Four nitpicks for you:
-the top of edge of her nose seems to cut off a bit too apruptly; it looks a little square,
-there's some pretty visible staircase banding in the eye whites' shadows,
-the AA in the top left section of her hair is a bit jagged,
-and, probably most importantly, her back looks like it should extend a little further to our right.
yeah it's mainly because originally I had the background as a different colour then changed it at the end.
