There's nothing wrong with posting your art at 4x. However, on Pixeljoint, the zoom in/out feature allows viewers to see pixel art at practically any size they wish, so there's no reason to not post at 1x. That said, if you want viewers to look at it at 4x, you could easily recommend they do so in the description or something, though I think viewers can decide that on their own. As Pix.Ed. said, posting at a larger size limits viewers who may wish to see it at 1x or 2x, etc. They'd have to download the image and downsize it themselves (which I did, and I gotta say it actually looks nice at 1x too.)
Please do so. IMO people often mistakes pixel art as something that has to be viewed zoomed in to appreciate it, because it gives this retro feeling. But actually I've seen that the beauty of pixel art is that a pixel-level control of the piece can make something really outstanding viewed at 1x, in a way that you can't tell how something so small and with such few colors can make something so detailed and great looking.
@Pix.Ed. Hi thanks for the crit. I'm already aware of all of this, but thank you regardless.
If you'd like, I can replace this with the 1x version rather than the size edit perhaps?
We can use the zoom feature if we want to see how you pixeled it, but we can't unzoom to see at 1x if you post it like this. Plus you cover up the thumbnail image which is at 1x. It is like you don't want us to see it at 1x. It is not like you get points for getting people to click on your image or anything.
Thank you everyone for the advice! I'll display the original size when I can, later today.
