Too much gradient ? Not that it looks bad but, comparing to what I have seen around here, less colors would do for a much better piece.

The outline of the logo is a decent start for a sprite, as are the green/red/blue/grey quarters inside it. The logo seems rather basic on its own, like it needs more anti-aliasing. The pixeling of the word below it is fair. But you've put this large, semi-transparent blur over the picture that seems to be just something Photoshopped in rather than hand-drawn. As it is I don't think this icon qualifies as pixelart, but if you removed the blur and put more attention into rendering the actual logo, you'd have a much better picture to show for it.
