There is no way to tell without seeing the game in question. But regardless, since this piece is posted alone, it probably needs to be lighter.

yes I think it's too dark too, so it gets nearly lost within the wall, its a bg for a game so it should not corespond with foregrounds and character and it does not. So I guess its ok for bg, tho i am not sure myself about it.

I guess it's meant this way, but it looks way too dark imo. We could appreciate more details with more contrast.
