Species:
Reptile, wurm.
Habitat:
Water, sand, soft soil, etc.
Food:
Omnivore, large animals, dense foliage.
Description:
Contrary to popular belief, this wurm is an intelligent creature. It's widely adaptive to soft soil enviorments. However, due to its massive size, it tends to stay in one area if the spot is found to be convenient.
When hunting, the alluvial wurm uses traditional burrowing ambushes, attacking from below. It is able to sense vibrations to determine the size of the prey. Once it decides to attack, it lunges with a short burst, much like an alligator. If all else fails, it grazes on the nearby greenery. They arn't picky eaters.
There have been reports of alluvial wurms attacking large sized livestock. A few brave people have succeeded in "luring" the wurm to the wilderness via native animals from the designated area. However, it is risky and dangerous, and most perfer comissioning to slay.
It is a rare sight to see the alluvial wurm open its eyes. Witnessing one with eyes opened is said to be your good luck that it sees. |
Cool, thx.
