Agreed with Eishiya, if you separate the two actions it would give a lot more anticipation, atm it seems like too much to take in when he does both things at once. I think replacing the frames where he is staring idly with the visor would be best.
The visor-lowering doesn't read very well because there's no delay between that and the flame starting. There's just not enough time to process it.
I think it would also help if the flame lit up the front of the character a little.
Good suggestions both y'all and better yet, easily fixed (withthout too much work).
