You guys (meaning Alex and Blick) fail to see the humor in this. Yeah, it probably didn't require a whole lot of effort, and everyone knows that Snader is super talented and creative, but that's not the point.
I dont know why you're taking this piece so seriously and as a "pathetic glorification" of forum spam when it's just a game - or an inside joke, if you will - from the off topic thread to make a celebratory pixel for each milestone. And I don't know a better way to represent the 1000 mark for the Snader we all know. And really, he's not 100% seriously cocky and arrogant; I guess it's sometimes hard to tell sarcasm online.
In conclusion, don't make such a big fuss over this effortless non-true-talent-showing piece. I think he had to do it in like 3 posts, so it's all in good fun.
And lastly @ Alex, he doesn't have a problem showing off his talent in front of others, you just have to ask him nicely haha 
@blick - yeah i know that there are quite a lot of em, and that i probably should add some more variation to it, but i wanted to have all 1000 in there, instead of just 2 loose sprites.
@alex - yup. my ego's to small for this world. i'm a hugetastic no good showoff that doesnt perform anywhere near his top. my character sucks badly too, and i hate the colours on it.
Well if you want a real critique, I can show you the difference between someone who is actually trying to be helpfull, and someone who is stupid.
The repition can get irritating, the way the entire image is layed out makes for a sea of black and green that is rather hard on the eyes. The snaders ought to be more spaced out. As for the snader image itself, the one that is repeated throughout the peice, I see nothing wrong with it, the shading is done perfectly and the shape works well. Though as an afterthought, it might have been a little bit better if the two shades of black on the pants didnt contrast QUITE so much. But its a good image, and well planned out. The simple style shading of the block letters in the certain works beautifully.
