Thanks Zizka! My creative process is so haphazard. I don't know where to start. The whole thing is painted in Photoshop and then assembled in 3DStudio Max. The animations are IFL sequences. Everything is built on a grid, so the positioning is lined up. The sequence is first set up with key frames, so all the weapon collisions are timed out and then fleshed out.
Not quite sure how long it took. Some of the character animations and backgrounds were done months ago. But I've been working on it pretty steadily for about three weeks.
That jump to avoid the low strike from the guy on the left is the best thing.
