To me it seems clear that the line width is intentially varied. This is a good display of AA

i dont know what the starting lines where, but if they were 1 pixel thick on the eyes, this isnt aa-ed very well. it looks neatly smooth and clean, but the idea behind AA is to make the lines smoother, and still keep them the same thickness
