some major gradienting and pillow shading there...reduce the colors and put in some more defined shading. maybe then I'll be able to see what it's supposed to be so I can help.
It doesn't look very much like an armor, the texture looks kinda slimy, or maybe it's just the colors. And what's that big hole down there for? I'll shut up now..........
