Now, I can't wait for a rainbow march of corgis...
Thanks you! ^_^ More of animations like this are on the way. : )
I know right? : ) people in hyrule have the same problem when link needs some ruppees for a shield.
Oh, no one's ever asked me that before. I do have quite an array of tips and tricks that might be helpful when tackleing big projects. For something like this I might have to create a youtube video to explain the process properly. PS and flash were super confusing when I first started, but now I'm able to combine multiple animations using the restictions between these two programs.
I think that's a great idea! : D I'll see what I can do after the mini animation project I'm working on is finished.
I'm glad you noticed! : ) Palette fades have become one of my unwritten rules since I have to super carefull not to go over the color limit for gifs.
tfw you suddenly wake up just to see pop nebula dreamer pop out your cabinet and smash your valuable pot you keep your cristal in, to pieces
Great pixels and animations, I keep being amazed at all the work you put into it!
Would be great if you could share some of your workflow, everything exceeding walkcycles in PS is giving me a headache because of how PS handles frames, so I would especially love to know if you do one big animation or combine several small and if the later how you combine them.
I hope I'm not asking too much since you're probably really busy with doing these animations
the proper palette fade is awesome. nice work on the whole piece.
Oh, your so right. I didn't see that untill now. O_O
I shall, next animation I have planned should have no mistakes in it. : )
Really inspiring work! The only thing I don't love are Mana's hands when they are over the bed sheets. The perspective looks a bit off, imo.
Please keep sharing your work!
Thanks, that was one of the most difficult parts to this one to get right. : )
Oh yeah, I do put them all in flash's timeline after I have created all of the scenes. It's a bit time consuming, but it's all worth it.
That's a wonderfull idea! : D I think you should go ahead and make the animation. There are tons of people who would love to see your creation. I actually have plans as well to make animations from popular video games, but these episodes take a bit longer then I'd like. ^_^'
Anytime buddy. : )
My first idea was Photoshop but then I thought, there must be tousands of frames there which is very hard to controll. So I presume you arrange them in timeline instead of frames.
I always wanted to make Silent Hill short animation, I even got chip tune themes custom made but at that time my skills couldn't follow my ideas so it's on hold for very long time, I will probably start from scratch if I decide to make it.
Thanks for reply, and best luck with future animations. :)
I love corgis! : D originally I had planned a rainbow march of corgis, but that was just too silly. XD
Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you liked it! : D I'm not sure why either. There's actually a lot more animations I plan to make, but I keep thinking only a few people are going to see them.
I tried aftereffects when I first started the series, but my computer was too slow to use it. Almost all of the animations are combined in photoshop, but lately I've been trying to make the animations more complex so sometimes I have to use flash to pack in everything in a scene. : )
I saw all episodes and I must say, this is top notch pixel art work, animations are soo smooth and appealing while backgrounds are full of details. I especially like Vallow character and his animations. It's strange that it doesn't have bigger audience. All in all great job. :D
I also have a question, in which software you combine your backgrounds and animations to make everything smooth but still make it look like there's a grid beneath. Aftereffects?
The anti-aliasing is freaking amazing on this. Very smooth!
I'm looking forward to it!
(and to the mini animation project as well :D)
