I really like it, especially the thick outlines. On thing that tends to be a little bit jarring in the thing outermost outline on the arms, it seems to break the nice brush-stroke feel of the rest of the piece. It feels very painterly, and this looks overly mechanical. The other issue is that with a stroke that thin the jitter looks off especially on Gaara's left arm.

I also have to agree with the feeling that is is oekaki and it has some random elements that detract from the overall piece. But I think it is great work either way.

I thought it was Gaara from Naruto...and it really was.

If you really want crits, his arms look fat, the shadows are somewhat random and he's got brown hair.

And it's oekaki.
