(1st part of the story in my previous post)
So at this point I was in holidays and wanted to practice code, and said to myself - "I CAN MAKE THIS GAME !!" - for some reason. I wanted a more pixelly style so i made the sprites smaller - that way I can scale them 2x without taking too much space.
I went for a different approach considering gameplay, with a turn based system kind of like crypt of the necromancer, with characters following each other like a snake / nimble quest.
Problem is, I still had big ideas for this game like randomly generated dungeons, quests, randomly generated characters and a lot of this - I ended up overwhelmed. I can't make THIS game as my first game and decided to go for something much simpler |
