Sure it is parallaxed forest in full movie, but i was not sure about site's rules about using after effects [witch i used in montage of full movie] and used photoshop's frame by frame timeline. So i got one layer's background for this .gif animation, because moving every separate layer of forest frame by frame was too much for a single gif )
I very much enjoy your animations. Lots of great stuff. loving it.
The backround in this piece doesn't work properly. It looks flat and fake, because the scrolling is wrong. You can divide the scene in five separate layers, the actual ground of action, the nearest green trees behind, the farther purple trees, the farthest black trees, and the sky with moon. Scroll the layers at different speeds, slower the farther away, but don't scroll the moon/sky at all. This will greatly improve depth perception and should be well worth the effort.
Wow! That was defiantly worth the wait! Great animation, those gore and explosion effects are really eyecatching. Watched it over 10 times trying to see everything going on. That bear is really good at tactics for a bear haha.
Oh, i can't understand, what goes wrong, and tried to upload correct file about 10 times, but with one and same result . I'll try to restart my pc and upload again. Thanks )
upd. does't help [
upd. success!) animation was more than 2mb and after drop colors value to 128 everything became ok)
Woops! I think you didnt upload this correctly for it to be an animated sequence (its a png, also looks like you uploaded the preview twice).
Using a modern video editing tool to manage scrolling and movement should be okay with PJ, as long as it doesn't mess up the pixels/colours of assets in the end. It can be considered similar in nature to copy-pasting tiles in specialized editors.
