i use the scanline dittering just since you can blend colors in a harsher way if that makes sense.

you can still aa with the colors but it tricks the eye somewat.

best exapmple is ofc Helm's spratan.

Very nice scanline dithering.
I'm inspired to try that out for a future piece of mine, but I don't want to copy someone so consciously!
