Created on a PC, looks fine (to me) on my iPhone as well. Maybe it's monitors, maybe personal tastes. I frequently use black lines so it shouldn't be much of a surprise.
I'm surprised to see you use so many black outlines, especially inner outlines (I mean between different colored areas). I can't help thinking these dark lines "dig" into the characters, and contradict their volumes. It reminds me of graphics of the Sega Genesis (Shining Force), where it seems it was the norm. On a TV set, the result was different, because the glowing "aura" of light pixels was eating into black lines instead. I wonder if the gamma of screens is affecting perception. Did you draw these on a Mac, per chance ? Because I'm watching them on a PC screen, and at 1:1 size the characters appear quite dark overall.
Great to see a new work from you Cure.
Excellent stuff as always!
