Oh, my client if payed me by all the art that I made for your project, but it is a pity that he could not continue his project.
A shame, can't you find new developers? Unless it was a paid job, then i would understand there is nothing to do.
Sometimes when developers do not feel satisfied by the outcome of gameplay (or also by activities most important) they decide to cancel the project. :)
