Good notes! I appreciate the feedback, mostly I have odd lighting there in an attempt to imply the tail as a light source. Sadly, when you deal with near-white colors it's tough to do! Regardless, I'll heed what you've said and keep it in mind, thank you!
I'm really enjoying your soft color palette style. It's really lovely.
Cool stuff. The AA is great. You might be able to leave out the dithering under the tail(the dithering suggests that the tail is bending upward and away from the shelf as to show a transition for more light and less shadow, but the tail is bending towards the shelf).
The viewpoint pans out to about the middle of the height of the piece, which is nice for the viewer's convienence. It also becomes like a first person perspective experience. Quite cool.
