This is still not quite done but I thought I'd post it up anyway. It's rather too dithery, I think the pirate's clothes are a little bright for the scene and I'm far from happy with the water. Lots of colours used aswell.

Anyway, comments and critisism welcome.

Hah, is it stupid to offer your own piece as reference? Probably. Meh. I once did water that ended up not perfect but decent. Maybe you can take something from it, despite the fact that you probably want calmer water. Here.

Very intense and different colors, but it worked out quite nice on the sunset, don't know why.
