I love SD3, so that's where I get some of my inspiration. I'll try lowering the brightness on the beach and the road, to see if that helps, although I think I have a different idea for the road.
Is that a seiken densetsu 3 I smell? :o. The beach really seems to clash with the colors of the water and of the grass, ditto with the yellow on the grass.
