A Dwarf Fortress commission I made for someone on the Bay12 forums. It's a creature design for his mod. This is a modified version however, I think this looks better than the design I made for the dude.
Creature description:
Gluttony (or Unending Gluttony) is a massive, grotesquely obese humanoid - they have two maws, one on it's head and another one that's horizontal and is present on it's stomach area, and both are filled with sharp fangs. They have no facial features on their heads, save for the
mouth - it's eyes instead grow on various spots on it's body - one is present on the top of it's head, another on it's chest, a third on it's lower body (inside the stomach maw, perhaps), a fourth on it's right shoulder and the fifth on it's left hand.
I'd imagine they wouldn't be larger than normal eyes (so proportional to the creature's body), and they'd be darting around constantly as if looking for something to eat.
They'd constantly smell of puke and excrement (in-game you can actually sniff them out if they're a certain distance from you and that's the description I gave it),
especially since one of their ways of attacking is to throw up - it's vomit causes nausea, swelling and severe necrosis of any body part it lands on.
I would think that they'd be about as dangerous as Lust, as unlike some of the other incarnations they'd be actively seeking out victims instead of merely stumbling across them.
Due to their large size their attacks would probably be very clumsy but also really powerful if they connect - in-game they're still better fighters innately than most starting adventurers.
Also, whenever speaking, I would imagine that both their head and stomach mouths move, which leads to this double-voice effect.
Their blood and eye colour is orange. |
