The work you have been doing for Russian Subway Dogs looks amazing and this piece is no exception. I was wondering about the thick black outline at first, however, now I think it works pretty well with your style.

Yeah just so you can tell for sure that a bite happened before returning to a neutral state. Right now there's a buildup--the jaw extending--and then there should be a definite release of the jaw snapping down.
Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback! Definitely still trying to wrap my head around animation. I guess I was trying to go from the fully extended jaw right back down very quickly in order to make it feel like a fast motion. I figure you mean there should be more of a bounce sort of motion that her head goes through before snapping back into its normal spot?
I feel like there should be more force in the chomp--right now it looks like she opens her mouth to it but then just returns to how she was.
