SInce everyone's critiqued the piece, I'll just say it looks really good...and it does.  Fav. :]

Also, the title of your RPG, Land of Adventures...if you're this creative with art, then how hard can it be to come up with an original or not-so-boring title?

im concerned about the arms, since typically light hits the shoulder and the forearm and not the bicep region (i tihnk this is what causes ryu's concern)
beside that though this not only is a very good character and pose, but also an excellent example of an artist working from another person's style and adding their own ideas to create something really great.

the way you shaded the arm on the right(our right), makes it look like his arm goes like this (  instead of  ).

prazors - its called selout (selective outlining) but i do agree it could be outlined a bit more

A very good charater, I just wish that the outline were stronger. You seemed to have used anti-aliasing or something to that effect? Over all good shading and form.
