The aesthetics reminds me immediately of a very old game called 'Techo Cop', a mix of 80s-90s action cop movie (with highway car chases) and cyberpunk setting. Visually it was very rudimentary, but this looks exactly like what they tried to do.
Hang in there! Deadlines can be gruelling, but releasing a game is something you can be proud of, many years from now.

I look at this piece and it reminds me of heavy synth wave soundtracks to the retro action dramas. Good stuff! Looking forward to seeing more of your work on this game.
