Yes right, game not finished, i update it each day. After about 30 leve no new enemies and bosses.
Today i added new boss, and big update with main hero : )
Heh I guess I "beat" the demo -- nothing but rats for many levels and I fought Scrag twice ;).
I know this piece is not the game but i do have to comment the effort, it's simplistic but effective, especially the inventory.
Yes, currently first level is just a trick to make game more interesting at start. I promise to add new artistic levels and locations later : ) Procedural generation is for avoid a lot of work, you are right : )
Do you mean yelow path on grass out of bricks? Ok ill try to change colors for it. Thank you for good advice.
This is fantastic piece, artwork design and atmosphere. Though one thing I don't like is those yellow boulders. IMO they are way too distractive.
Fun game -- made it to the Hive, but my luck ran out.
I hoped to see more art like this, but I guess the procedural aspect is tough for larger non-repeating work.
One thing I noticed is the awning on the house does not seem to be angled like the rest of the scene. It feels like we're looking at it straight on (like it would be if it were pixelled for a platformer, not top down) and everything else looks like we're viewing it from farther above.
