I know that symmetry is enemy of art ;] but it seems to me that she is a bit to much to the right side. Exept for that, she is great!

i like this a lot, its not often you see something so nice in pixel art, even though the techniques are fairly simple.  yours i tihnk i actually like better than the original when i see them side by side, though i know it was ment as a tribute.  would be nice to see what you could do from scratch, you seem to have a lot of talent

oh and shadow, those extra 'fingers' are her toes lol

Very nice in the way it blends etc. The only thing I think could be added is a bit of AA in certain places so that the blending isn't countered by the bold liniar outlines.
