Despite some anatomy problems posted below I like gestures and lines very much. Very natural, dynamic and interestin. These low res Gun Girls looks sexy as hell (that was intention, right?).
Thanks for your remarks, Dyluck, and glad you like my pic.
There is no doubt I failed a little bit with hands. But still, am examing the girl to the far right the whole day, and still I can't see any trouble. Bad news, I like it more and more, lol. First of all, I asked my wife to stay in such a pose, when I was drawing. Second, I can put an imaginary line right down from the top of her head to the right feet through the chest and hips and that line shows me that everything is rather okay... She is not falling to me at all.
I guess, it's just the case when I need time to forget and see the picture again to understand. Sorry.
Thanks for your comment.
I love it, goes directly to favs.
Said so, at least the arms of the girl in the right, and the right arm of second by the right look abnormally long. Not everyone has the same proportions, but those are a little off of the common ideal proportion standards. You can find people with arms longer, but not frequently, and probably it was not your intent.
What I think M&C states about the balance about of the one in the right is simple. I'm not gonna ask you to put yourself in the same pose, wearing heels (XD) but I think it's clear it gives the impression that the girl is gonna fell on her nose. (Specially, notice the angle of the right leg as perspective seems to suggest.)The snipper rifle is not a pole bar (not fixed to the floor) so it can't stand the weight off balance the mass center of the hottie.
Thank you, my dear friend, you find some time to analyze my work. Now I clearly see what was bothering me the whole time - the hands. The reason was - I was using 6 head proportions for my gals, and totally forget about it, while drawing hands. Now I can see it.
Though, can't agree about the pose of the far right... Maybe I need to sit on it a little bit more, because I don't see the problem... Hmm...
Anyway, thnx again!
You have a good idea of what the female form looks like, but there are a few problems.
Excluding the first one on the left, their arms seem too long. Their fully extended arm can nearly touch a knee while standing. Again, excluding the first girl, their torso length can be heightened another pixel. Correction, their spines are bent a good amount, so that accounts for some of the torso length. Try it out anyways to see if it looks better or worse...
As for poses, the one on the far right has her center of balance off to the left too much. It doesn't look like she's using the rifle for balance with that kind of grip and bend of the arm to me.
Keep up the good pixel work.
pixels are squares, and women are not square!
