When I originally started with the stained glass weekly challenge, I wanted to do a stained glass panel that showed all of the planets in our solar system. The colors of the planets seemed to make the piece too busy, so I refocused on the sun and the earth.

We always see a lot of stained glass with holy symbols, and I thought it would be cool as a framing device for the earth. That earth is the planet most blessed by the solar system.

I used a 100x100 pixel frame, and my palette sits at 36 colors, although I suspect my actual color use is closer to 30 or 32.
