That is weird this is the first time I ever saw somone who uses red and green that well
Thank you for the very in depth criticism - Ill keep it in mind on my next piece! Im a huge fan of your work :)
This is nice, and the warm to cold palette is used well, but since you asked for pointers:
- The perspective is a bit inconsistent. The plateaus are flat surfaces, so when they are above the horizon (eye height) we would not expect to see the top surfaces. Right now, it seems like the higher one is slanted towards the viewer. The perspective suggests that the monster girl is a lot bigger than the knight in front.
- Some areas are bit noisy, partly because of an overuse of dither. The clouds are too consistently sphere-like and have a very rough texture (in the form of dither), I would change up the shape and not use dither there. There is banding, most noticeable in the knight's face, lava gargoyle heads and monster girl. The monster girl has too much AA (over-anti-aliasing) on the outline.
I hope you find my criticism useful.
Oh haha - thank you!
