Aegean seaside roads on the way to my parents' summerhouse. I did this work as a gift for my mother.

Keeping this simple turned out to be more of a challange for me than I expected. I tried to apply the same simple painting-like style as my previous work.

Ended up removing lots of small details since I thought they made everything look too noisy.

@Gecimen:

Evet hocam olabilir.

@Macaroni and Cheese: Thanks a lot man! The road had several iterations too and this is also my favorite version of it. Glad you liked it! :)

The weathered texture of the road is my favorite part. And then the big body of water with the distant hills adds lots of depth. Great stuff.

This piece gets me thinking of Grand Turismo 3: A-spec for PS2. :)

 @jok: Thanks a lot!

I made those bushes about 4 times from scratch. For me they were definitely the most frustrating part to make and I think they turned out to be a faliure :)

You are right, they look really flat. I might try to fix them one more time :)

It is always good to hear crits/advice from awesome pixel artists like yourself, thanks again!

I like simplicity of this landsacpe

not sure if black outlines around bushes are good idea

I belive it look better if instead you improved shadows on them -  now this part looks flat

nice colours

Your work reminds me of the old graphic adventure games on the likes of the trs-80 color.
Extremelly inspiring. Keep it up!
