Okay! Thanks for the advice, it really means to me, since i'm a noob at this ! When i'm done with it again i'll repost it ! Cheers !
Yep! And avoiding the noise such as those single pixels and irregular edges between colours you have now. Those things, if used wisely, can create the illusion of detail, but they can just as easily look like a mess.
You mean, keeping it simple ? Like, the light-shadow transition within 3-4 colours? Thanks for replying !
I think you went overboard with the colours and texture on the fabric. Most of it isn't visible at 1x, and none of that detail helps convey the shape or contents of the pouch. Try keeping things simpler and using fewer colours. It's easier to go back and add more colours and detail later if you want to make things smoother than to eliminate redundant colours and noise later.
Unless you really want to keep both versions in your gallery for some reason, I recommend editing this one instead of reposting.
Next time you're working on something that you expect to spend more than a day or two making changes to, I recommend posting your WIPs on the forum so you can get feedback early. The PJ gallery is meant for finished pieces do people are more reluctant to give feedback that involves changing the current piece. You might not always get a reply, so don't wait for feedback to keep working, but if you do, it might be really useful and save you more reworking down the road.
