So...the same problems i always ahve with my pieces...
I will start a little studie on volume and sharb contrast...i hope i can satisfy next time ^^
Their project is called 5734L3R, not 5731L3R. It's "STEALER" rendered with digits (and an L), which should help you remember.
Your ship looks a bit flat, there's no sense of volume. Everything has the full highlight-midtone-shadow range so it all looks like it's on the same plane and that nothing is closer or further away from the viewer. There's no definite light source either, since you have the shop lit from left and right. It's fine for there to be many light sources, but it tends to look best and give the best sense of volume if there's one dominant light source, and the rest are weaker and just serve to fill in parts that would otherwise be pitch black.
I like these ship designs you've been making.
Going along with what eishiya said and what I've learned, experiment with increasing the contrast and maybe add some intense highlights where you'd expect light to be hitting at sharp angles(corners, edges, etc).
