This one was based on this small decorative landscape painting in our house. I thought it would be interesting to do it in pixel art.

@Manupix  Thank you. Yeah I agree. The grass looks uniform. I'm still trying to figure out how texture works. Also the I should've add bright highlight in the water fall. As you can tell I struggled with this part lol. Yeah the lower area is really flat I didn't pay too much attention to it. I enjoy the overall pattern/texture theme that is present from the grass, to the trees, to even the clouds. I feel like this would be something difficult to accomplish, but you totally pulled it off. As complex as the textures are, the piece is still easy to read and to-the-point. Great work!

Nice grass texture, but a bit too systematic. Toning it down in the distance would help with depth.

Look at how the painting uses highlights to show the waterfall volume.

Also the bottom water line is too straight, needs some stuff happening there: branches or roots jutting out, etc.
