yeah me too. but still, Blueberry is a rock solid western comic! But his sci-fi stuff is really something else yes!
Yeah it's spiritual aspect is enormous, really inspired me ! I'm more a fan of his sci-fi work than blueberry, but still great !
thanks onsibuno!
I try to buy every comic book of Moebius I can get my hands on, so yes I am currently heavily influenced by his work! I just love the spiritual aspect of his art, combined by realistic and tough characters (Blueberry) and some kinky stuff added in the mix. And of course the crazy use of colors and line art texturing makes him stand out.
Wow really love your works, or piece of art ? It remind me some of Moebius artworks, a french comic artist.
Really love the colors ! Keep it Up !
I agree it's kind of weird. XD Especially when you get into colour theory and applying greens and blues where, while zoomed in, look completely off yet, somehow by ancient Chinese magic, they look just right when you look at it as a whole.
It's really about what you like, too, so don't let me change your mind. Lol! If making a game (on your own no less) is the goal, then I see how unnecessary pixeling could end up detracting.
yeah did look it up, but I think AA is a bit weird.. To smooth out crisp pixel art feels a bit like anti-pixel art. And it doesnt work with moving sprites in games (at least for the outlines). I also want to keep my pixel art simple as possible to prevent huge workload so I can actaully finish a game project on my own.
I will keep it up! Hopefully I'll be posting a lot more in the future and I'll keep an eye out for your submissions.
I'm sure, since you've been here for awhile, you've seen the articles and tutorials on AA in the forum. I only mentioned it because someone opened my eyes to having those types of tools at your disposal. If you wondered why you haven't tried it, you could probably scan through one of those tuts and get inspired like I did. It's cool to know that when anyone uses all these things together, the only thing that limits anyone is their imagination! And you have a good one so don't lose it! :D
it feels good to know that my work inspires others. I don't hear that often you know, so thanks for that! I also look up to people at the moment that understands the delicate art of AA! You can also look at people that are really bad at pixel art to feel better for yourself :) You keep it up too!
That's really great for just a short period of work. Not that I'm comparing, because I think that gets counterproductive, but I do get intimidated by some of these artists that push out high quality pieces in what seems like no time at all. But your work is pretty inspirational. Keep it up!
Thanks DexRunner! I am a bit reluctant to use Anti Aliasing, because.. because.. Well I should try it!
It took me a midday to make.
I really like this. Not that I'm one to talk, but the only thing I can think of is the aa could use some work.
How long did it take you to finish, @Ultimogames?
Wow! I fill 70s Sci-Fi style.
Nice work!
