The name says it all, I think...an atempt on emulating the style St0ven uses in his portraits, loosely based on his "Ambient Lightning - Portrait" tutorial. Something does't work in it, but I don't feel like trying to find out what it is...though I doubt I will change it, all C&C is highly appreciated, as usual. --- About 1 hour and a half, in Photoshop. 9 colours + transparency

Well, I can see yuo used his tutorial, and that;s a good thing. This looks great. The detail on the hair is excellent, just as the shirt. The skin tone is spot on- Superb job.

looks definately st0ven. what might make it look off is the big mass of hair, compared to a small face, orthe fact that the face is a bit high up the head (making the forehead look tiny, and the head pretty much a circle.

and it would benefit from a secondary lightsource i think, to bring a bit of balance in there(between the /birghtdarkness of the left and right)

killer palette, nice lighting. The only things that seem off to me are the the shoulders, which are a tad small in proportion to the head.

Good job! When I saw this on the front page, I immediately thought "St0ven?" and clicked it. Very similar style, but the hair on the right looks a bit off.
