@MrFariator Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a shot as soon as I can! Anti-Aliasing is currently on my "to learn" list so improving this piece using that technique will be two birds with one stone  

Pretty nice. As a tip however, most of the lighting in the sprite creates stair-case banding (pic), which could be avoided with some little anti-aliasing.
