Thats about right, when you press a key ash will swing the saw once and go back to his idle animation. The beta game engine can be found here-

Controls=

left/right = move

up= jump

hold z + press direction = fire

X = swing saw

C = Kick

And if anyone is interested in playing it, there is also a jet set radio/Sonic game in there too

Controls=

Left/right = move

hold z = charge jump

release z = jump

Hold X = grind

Both games I may come back to working on in the future

You have to remember that this is one of Ash's moves in a game. I don't think that it's surposed to loop like this in the game. I think it's more like: One swing, oponent gets hit and then Ash returns to idle stance. Am I right Hotlead Junkie? :D

Yea, the animation is too fast and I think it would benefit from a pause between swings.

i really like the charcter...but im not sure about that animation....
