I was inspired to try a more minimalistic and clean style after seeing a cool cowboy game with a similar palette. Here's a little house with one bookcase in it, pretty much a bum deal for any pixel home owner.

It's totally cool to try minimal things, but try to get the core elements right. The object in the center doesn't really read as a bookcase, I thought it was an alien head with one eye and missing some teeth.. also it is unclear what the line around the frame is supposed to be... walls?
