No no, not at all! I mean that there is no difference between the left and the right step, which is a technique often used to save frames. But it is totally fine to do it that way, it looks alright in your sprite :)

By "one-sided run cycle" are you suggesting that I should add some sway to the movement? Like making the body twist with the legs stretch?

Cool! Funny how the legs have a one sided run cycle, yet you still use the double amount of frames for the headscarf ;)
